  • Funding "SMooHS" by the " Forschungsinitiative Zukunft Bau" of the "Bundesinstitut für Bau-, Stadt- und Raumforschung" (BBSR).
  • "SMooHS - Smart Monitoring of Historic Structures" IP in the FRP7 (Cultural Heritage) of the European Union. This project started in December 2008. IWB/MPA is leader of two workpackages.
  • Innonet-RIWEA: "Inspection of wind turbine rotor blades". (2006-2009)
  • "Detection and localization of failures in steel reinforced concrete and fibre reinforced concrete" (Subproject A6 of the SFB 381, funded by the DFG). This project ended in December 2006.
  •  "Non-destructive evaluation of concrete structures using acoustic and electro-magnetic echo-methods" (Subproject VIII of the FOR 384, funded by the DFG). This project ended in December 2006.
  • " Sustainable Bridges: Assessment for Future Traffic Demands and Longer Lives" in the FR6 of the European Union. This project ended in December 2007
